DESCRIPTION:

Thermal and acoustic insulation, designed to resist and dimish thermal flow, in order to keep comfortable temperatures in a given environment and to reduce noise-transmission levels between spaces in household, commercial and industrial installations.

USES:

As thermal insulation:

• Controls and stabilizes inside temperature ranges.
• Allows for comfortable temperature levels in household, commercial, industrial or any interior space.
• Prevents excessive heat loss in cold weather, as well as excessive heating in the summer.
• Provides maximum comfort and saves energy.

As a steam barrier: In its aluminum foil or Kraft paper presentation, is an effective steam barrier against condensation on ceilings or outer walls. Keeps special realtive humidity conditions perquisite for certain activities.

As acoustic insulation: With an absorption coefficient up to 1.0 (3 ½”), ideal to sandwich between panelling in light contruction systems. Because it is an open-cell blanket, absorbs noise in its cavities, and reduces its strength.
